The National Council for Energy Policy - CNPE, through CNPE Resolution No.18/2018, published in the Union Official Gazette - DOU - on December 19, 2018, authorized the ANP to hold the 6th Production Sharing Bidding Round, also approved the technical parameters and of the areas offered and defined as strategic the Bumerangue area.
Will be offered the blocks Aram, Bumerangue, Cruzeiro do Sul, Southwest of Sagitário area and North of Brava area.
In accordance with art. 4, paragraph 1, of Law 12,351, dated December 22, 2010, Petrobras shall express its decision about the preemptive right to act as operator in each of the blocks offered in the production sharing basis.

The Collegiate Board has approved, in 09/20/2018, the new configuration and the inclusion of blocks for the 6th Production Share Bidding Rounds that shall be recommended to the Nacional Council for Energy Policy - CNPE- for deliberation..
The plan consider the inclusion of two (2) new blocks, Sudoeste de Sagitário and Norte de Brava (Southwestern of Sagitário and North of Brava blocks), also the readequation of the dimensions of the blocks Aram, Cruzeiro do Sul (former Sudeste de Lula, Sul e Sudeste de Júpiter) and Bumerangue. The changes still need the CNPE approval.
The National Energy Policy Council (CNPE), through Resolution No. 04/2018, published in the Official Gazette of 05/11/2018, authorized the ANP to evaluate the parameters of the prospects of Aram, Sudeste de Lula, Sul and Sudoeste de Júpiter and Bumerangue, located in Santos Basin, in order to hold the 6th Production Sharing Bidding Round to happen next year, 2019.
