On December 17, 2018, at a ceremony held at the Planalto Palace in the city of Brasília-DF, MME and ANP signed the contracts under the production sharing regime of the auctioned areas in the 4th and 5th Partial Tender Bids of production.
Present at the ceremony were the President Michel Temer, the Minister of Mines and Energy, Wellington Moreira Franco, the Director General of the ANP, Décio Oddone, the President of PPSA, Ibsen Flores and representatives of the 10 signatory companies. Also present at the ceremony were the ANP Directors, other Ministers of State, parliamentarians, guests and representatives of the press.
For the 5th Production Sharing Bidding Round, four contracts were signed in the following areas: Saturno area, an agreement signed with the consortium Shell Brasil Petróleo Ltda (50%) and Chevron Brasil Oil and Gas Ltda (50%); Titã area, agreement signed with the consortium ExxonMobil Exploração Brasil Ltda (64%) and QPI Brasil Petróleo Ltda (36%); Pau Brasil area the consortium of BP Energy do Brasil Ltda (50%), and CNOOC Petroleum Brasil Ltda (30%) and Ecopetrol Oil and Gas do Brasil Ltda (20%); and Southwestern of Tartaruga Verde area, the agreement signed by Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. - Petrobras (100%).
ANP approved the judgment report of the 5th Production Sharing Bidding Round , elaborated by the Special Bidding Commission (CEL) and awarded the bidding object to the winning bidders, according to the decision published on the Union Official Gazette.
For the signature of the production sharing agreements, the bidders or affiliates indicated by them must present documents and guarantees, as well as having proven the payment of the signature bonus, within the deadlines defined in Table 1 of the public bidding documents, as follows:
The documents required for the signature of the production-sharing agreements are listed in table 18 of the Tender Protocol and must be presented in a single route, regardless of the number of blocks sold, except for the documents described in sections 10.1.2, 10.1.3, 10.1.4 and 10.1.5 (where applicable) which must be submitted for each agreement to be signed.
Pursuant to section 10.2 of the Tender Protocol, the winning bidder may delegate the signature of the production-sharing agreement to an affiliate having its headquarters and administration in Brazil. The affiliate receiving the delegation shall submit documents for the signature of the production sharing agreement, provided for in sections 10.1.2, 10.1.3, 10.1.6 and, if applicable, 10.1.4 and 10.1.5, and obtain economic- financial and legal requirements at the minimum level required to sign the contract, in addition to proving its tax and labor regularity.

For the presentation of the guarantees of the Minimum Exploration Program, consortium contracts and performance guarantees, it is essential to correctly identify the number of the production sharing agreement, according to the instructions available at this link.
The date of the signature of the production sharing contracts will be confirmed, with the ceremony forecasting for December, 2018.
As a result, the issues of the financial guarantees for compliance with the Minimum Exploration Program in the Guarantee and Letter of Credit modalities must consider the following effective dates:
