On March 30, ANP signed the production sharing agreement with the companies: CNODC Brasil Petróleo e Gás Ltda. and Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras.
The agreement was signed by Bento Costa Lima Leite de Albuquerque Júnior, Minister of Mines and Energy; José Gutman, Director-General of ANP; José Eduardo Vinhaes Gerk, President of PPSA; Roberto da Cunha Castello Branco, President of Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. - PETROBRAS; Guangfeng Wan, Director-General of CNODC Brasil Petróleo e Gás Ltda.
ANP approved the judgment report of the 6th Production Sharing Bidding Round , approved by the Special Bidding Commission (CEL) and awarded the bidding object to the winning bidders, according to the decision published on the Official Gazette (DOU). The files are in Portuguese.
The winning bidders in the 6th Production Sharing Bidding Round will enter into a production sharing agreement with MME, ANP and PPSA for oil and natural gas exploration and production.
To sign the production sharing agreement, winning bidders must submit signature documents and prove payment of the signing bonus, as per section 10 of the bidding notice, and within the timeframe defined in Table 1 of the bidding notice.
The date of signing of the production sharing agreement will still be confirmed, with the signing ceremony scheduled for March 2020.
